I'm glad that someone was able to understand this painting on a personal level because I made it from that perspective. You may or may not be interested to know that the texture behind the character is a magnified view of pancreas tissue as if seen from under a microscope. Thanks for your comments!

Thanks everybody, for your kind comments! The board was sold and so the proceeds will go to charity. I'm a little bummed because I was hoping to get it back if it didn't sell. I'll just have to make another I guess. :)
